The golf swing requires movement. Limited movement causes pain.  Many structures in the body can cause a loss of movement.  The particular structure causing the loss of movement, a muscle, ligament, arthritic joint, has to be identified because the wrong stretches can actually cause more pain.  Different structures require different stretches.  At CHC Physical Therapy we will identify the painful structure and restore painless movement.  So often, with the presence of arthritis, it is blamed for the pain.  Most often arthritis is not the cause of the pain.  And, even if it is, pain does not have to be a necessary consequence.
