Wellness Evaluation

The Wellness Evaluation Program is a program aimed to address the general physical needs of individuals in the community.  This is a pay out-of-pocket service in which community members can choose to take control of their physical function and limitations.  This service will include a full evaluation including, but not limited to, Muscular Strength, Muscular Endurance, Cardiovascular Endurance, Balance, Posture and Alignment.  After completion of the evaluation individuals will become actively involved in setting goals to increase their function and performance and to decrease the risk for various impairments and injuries.  The major goal of the comprehensive Wellness Evaluation is to provide community members with the means to identify functional limitations that lead to increased risk of impairment and failed exercise programs, including walking and gym programs, while avoiding the complicated hospital systems.

The Wellness Evaluation tool would be good for the young athlete and the baby boomer athlete, a safe-gait and risk of fall assessment.  It will provide important information to insure the success of an exercise program.  If an exercise program is causing pain, the Wellness Evaluation could determine the cause.
