Dr. Justin Kreit DPT, CSCS
I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from the University of Toledo in 2009. I have a Bachelors of Allied Health from Bowling Green State University.
I am a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS). This entitles me to be a strength and conditioning trainer for college and professional athletes.
I qualified to compete in the United States of America Gymnastics (USAG) National Championship and am now a USAG Professional Member. This enables me to coach and judge at the national level. Prior to being a USAG national qualifier, I was an Amateur Athletic Union (AAU) national qualifier. I have been judging men’s gymnastics for 9 years now.
For the past 5 years I have been a non competitive weight lifter. I participate in this activity for the physical, psychological, social, and health benefits that come with physical activity.
Physical Therapists are professional clinicians who work actively with patients and clients to increase independence, functional skills, and mobility. This is accomplished through specific interventions and goal setting aimed to reduce pain, and increase the functional capacity of the musculoskeletal and nervous system.
In my opinion diet and exercise are the two most important aspects of daily life that reinforce quality of life.
To achieve optimal recovery and benefit from therapy, one must actively participate in their rehabilitation program.
